It was a momentous triumph for the football team of Chettinad Vidyashram as they emerged victorious in the CBSE clusters football tournament held in Matagondapalli Model School, Hosur between 26^th -29^th September 2019.

This state level tournament witnessed avid participants from schools across Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andaman and Noicobar Islands.  About 180 teams vied with each other in what appeared to be a sports battle with each team trying its best to take home the trophy.

Anirudh Badiga of class XII, the football super star of Chettinad Vidyashram was adjudged ‘The Emerging Player Of The Tournament’.  The final match was against Omega best ipl Fantasy Cricket games School that ended in a draw, resulting in a penalty shoot-out.

The able team comprised Sudarshan V, Pranav G, Bhani, Brando, Dheeraj, Anirudh, Muzefa, Manish, Raghul, Mithra, Sethu, Karthik, Lakshman, Dinesh, Sohan and Dhanush under the supreme guidance of coach M Senthil Kumar.
